On May 6, Elder Ed Keyes cut the ribbon and inaugurated two buildings, a church and a pastoral house, located on 4.66 acres purchased by the Stronghold International SDA Mission Group. Assisted by Pastor Ray Navarro, who delivered a Sabbath School presentation, Pastor Van Bledsoe dedicated an elder for ordination and welcomed the new group members. Elder Keyes gave the message for the divine service, and Elder Reggie Leach concluded the inauguration with his lecture in the afternoon. Communication Director Jeff Rogers was on hand as the official photographer.

Following the “Each One, Reach One” mission statement, they began distributing flyers and word-of-mouth invitations throughout their neighborhood for a complimentary breakfast every first Sabbath of the month.

This spring, Glendale Korean church celebrated two significant milestones: paying off their mortgage and the commemoration of their 50th anniversary. The joyous day, which consisted of two ceremonies, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, brought together the congregation and friends from near and far.
