New Garden Lab Enhances Learning
Thanks to generous support, HIS has a fully funded garden lab classroom! Daniel Nicholls, HIS agricultural director, now has a dedicated space that helps combine instruction and practice for his students.
The new garden lab classroom is packed with benefits that significantly impact the educational experience for students. The most immediate benefit is the quality of the learning/growing space itself. From the concrete slabbed flooring to the internal water heating system to the lighting, “This is better than the small shed we have been using,” stated Nicholls.
