For the first time, the Hawaii Conference brought together church clerks and treasurers from across the islands for a weekend of connection, education, and spiritual growth. Held at Camp Waianae, this inaugural event marked a significant step in equipping and empowering those who serve in these vital ministry roles. The weekend’s theme, “Called to Invest: A Ministry of Data, People, and Mission,” emphasized the spiritual calling behind the administrative work that supports the mission of the church.
Attendees gathered on Oahu at Camp Waianae to reflect on their responsibilities, exchange best practices, and grow in fellowship. The event was more than a training—it was a spiritual retreat designed to affirm and uplift those who often serve quietly behind the scenes.
A highlight of the weekend was the keynote presentation by Jorge Ramirez, guest speaker from the North American Division. With clarity and conviction, Ramirez spoke on the crucial importance of clerks and treasurers in the overall mission of the church. Hawaii Conference organiza primer retiro para secretarios y tesoreros
Por primera vez, la Hawaii Conference reunió a secretarios y tesoreros de iglesias de todas las islas para un fin de semana de conexión, educación y crecimiento espiritual. Celebrado en Camp Waianae, ese evento inaugural marcó un paso significativo en el equipamiento y empoderamiento de aquellos que sirven en esos vitales roles ministeriales. El tema del fin de semana, «Llamados a invertir: Un ministerio de datos, personas y misión», enfatizó el llamado espiritual detrás del trabajo administrativo que apoya la misión de la iglesia.
Los asistentes se reunieron en Oahu, en Camp Waianae, para reflexionar sobre sus responsabilidades, intercambiar mejores prácticas y crecer en compañerismo. El evento fue más que una capacitación, fue un retiro espiritual diseñado para afirmar y elevar a aquellos que a menudo sirven en silencio detrás de escena.
Un punto culminante del fin de semana fue la presentación principal de Jorge Ramírez, orador invitado de la División Norteamericana. Con claridad y convicción, Ramírez habló sobre la importancia crucial de los clérigos y tesoreros en la misión general de la iglesia.
