Arizona Adventurer Family Retreat
The Arizona Adventurer Family Retreat was held on May 1-3 at Camp Yavapines in Prescott, Arizona. This special weekend brought together Adventurers, leaders, and families from across Arizona for a meaningful and joy-filled experience centered on faith, fellowship, and family connection.
The retreat welcomed over 300 Adventurers and had a total attendance of more than 900 people, including club leaders and family members. The strong participation reflected the continued growth and unity of the Adventurer ministry, creating an exciting atmosphere throughout the camp.
The weekend theme, “Walking with Jesus,” was beautifully reflected in both the programming and the interactive activities. One of the highlights of the retreat was the involvement of various clubs that created themed booths to help children understand how they can walk with Jesus in every part of life. Booth topics included messages such as “I can walk with Jesus when I am happy,” “when I’m sad,” “tired,” “scared,” “angry,” “bored,” and more. These creative stations encouraged children to connect real emotions and everyday experiences with their relationship with Christ.
The weekend presenter, psychologist Nitza Salazar, delivered engaging, impactful presentations that captivated both children and adults. Her dynamic approach made each session interactive, encouraging participation from the Adventurers and their parents. Through her presentations, she created an environment where families could not only listen and learn about the work of the Lord but also enjoy fun, laughter, and meaningful moments together. Her ability to connect with the audience helped make the spiritual messages practical and memorable.
Overall, the Arizona Adventurer Family Retreat was a blessed and successful event. It provided an uplifting opportunity for children and families to grow spiritually, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories. The Adventurers truly enjoyed the weekend, which left the Adventurers and their parents encouraged and inspired to continue walking with Jesus in every season of life.

Retiro familiar de Aventureros en Arizona: Caminando con Jesús
El Retiro Familiar de Aventureros de Arizona se celebró del 1 al 3 de mayo en Yavapines Camp en Prescott, Arizona. Ese fin de semana especial reunió a Aventureros, líderes y familias de todo Arizona para una experiencia significativa y llena de alegría, centrada en la fe, la convivencia y la conexión familiar.
El retiro recibió a más de 300 Aventureros y contó con una asistencia total de más de 900 personas, incluidos líderes de clubes y familiares. La sólida participación reflejó el crecimiento y la unidad continuos del ministerio de Aventureros, creando un ambiente emocionante en todo el campamento.
El tema del fin de semana, “Caminando con Jesús”, se reflejó maravillosamente tanto en la programación como en las actividades. Uno de los momentos destacados del retiro fue la participación de varios clubes que crearon puestos temáticos para ayudar a los niños a entender cómo pueden caminar con Jesús en cada aspecto de la vida. Los temas del stand incluían mensajes como “Puedo caminar con Jesús cuando soy feliz”, “cuando estoy triste”, “cansado”, “asustado”, “enfadado”, “aburrido” y más. Esas estaciones animaban a los niños a conectar emociones reales y experiencias cotidianas a su relación con Cristo.
La presentadora del fin de semana, la psicóloga Nitza Salazar, ofreció presentaciones atractivas e impactantes que cautivaron tanto a niños como a adultos. Su enfoque dinámico hizo que cada sesión fuera interactiva, fomentando la participación de los Aventureros y sus padres. A través de sus presentaciones, creó un entorno donde las familias no solo podían escuchar y aprender sobre la obra del Señor, sino también disfrutar de diversión, risas y momentos significativos juntos. Su capacidad para conectar con el público ayudó a que los mensajes espirituales fueran prácticos y memorables.
En general, el Retiro Familiar de Aventureros de Arizona fue un evento bendecido y exitoso. Ofreció una oportunidad alentadora para que niños y familias crecieran espiritualmente, fortalecieron amistades y crearan recuerdos duraderos. Los Aventureros disfrutaron realmente del fin de semana, que dejó a los Aventureros y a sus padres animados e inspirados para seguir caminando con Jesús en cada etapa de la vida.
