Strong and Courageous

From April 10-12, the Pathfinder community gathered at Camp Yavapines for a truly memorable Camporee titled “Strong and Courageous.” Set against the beautiful backdrop of Prescott, Arizona, the weekend brought together more than 300 Pathfinders and over 800 attendees, creating an atmosphere filled with energy, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

A central highlight of the Camporee were the inspiring messages from Pastor Jamal Franklin, who spoke powerfully on what it means to live a truly strong and courageous life. His presentations resonated deeply with both Pathfinders and leaders, offering practical insights and encouragement for facing life’s challenges with faith and confidence.

In addition to the spiritual programming, participants enjoyed a variety of engaging and fun-filled activities. From an interactive Scavenger Hunt to the excitement of the Pinewood Derby and the adrenaline of the Soap Box Derby, there was something for everyone to enjoy. These activities not only provided entertainment but also fostered teamwork, creativity, and friendly competition among the Pathfinders.

The weather added its own special touch to the experience. While there were brief showers, the overall conditions remained cool and refreshing—perfect for outdoor activities and bonding with nature. Rather than dampening spirits, the weather contributed to the sense of adventure and made the weekend even more memorable.

Overall, the “Strong and Courageous” Pathfinder Camporee was an amazing and blessed event. It provided a meaningful opportunity for young people to grow spiritually, build lasting friendships, and create memories that will last for years to come.

Del 10 al 12 de abril, la comunidad Conquistadores se reunió en Yavapines Camp para un camporee realmente memorable titulado “Fuerte y Valiente”. Ambientado en el hermoso escenario de Prescott, Arizona, el fin de semana reunió a más de 300 Conquistadores y más de 800 asistentes, creando un ambiente lleno de energía, compañerismo y crecimiento espiritual.

Uno de los puntos destacados del Camporee fueron los mensajes inspiradores del pastor Jamal Franklin, quien habló con poder sobre lo que significa vivir una vida verdaderamente fuerte y valiente. Sus presentaciones resonaron profundamente tanto en los Conquistadores como en los líderes, ofreciendo perspectivas prácticas y ánimo para afrontar los desafíos de la vida con fe y confianza.

Además de la programación espiritual, los participantes disfrutaron de una variedad de actividades atractivas y llenas de diversión. Desde una búsqueda interactiva hasta la emoción del Pinewood Derby y la adrenalina del Soap Box Derby, había algo para que todos disfrutaran. Esas actividades no solo proporcionaron entretenimiento, sino que también fomentaban el trabajo en equipo, la creatividad y la competencia amistosa entre los Conquistadores.

El clima también aportó un toque especial a la experiencia. Aunque hubo algunas lluvias pasajeras, en general las condiciones se mantuvieron frescas y agradables, perfectas para las actividades al aire libre y para convivir con la naturaleza. Lejos de desanimar a nadie, el clima contribuyó al sentido de aventura e hizo que el fin de semana fuera aún más memorable.

En general, el Camporee de Conquistadores “Fuerte y Valiente” fue un evento increíble y bendecido. Ofreció una oportunidad significativa para que los jóvenes crecieran espiritualmente, establecieran amistades duraderas y crearan recuerdos que durarán muchos años.
