Living Water

Women from across the Las Vegas Valley gathered at Living Water Fil-Am church for its annual Women’s Week of Prayer, held under the theme “Becoming Her in Christ.” The week-long event provided an opportunity for worship, spiritual growth, fellowship, and encouragement as attendees explored what it means to become the women God has called them to be.

Each evening featured a different speaker who shared biblical insights and personal testimonies that highlighted God’s faithfulness and transforming power. The week’s speakers included Claudia Arevalo Yutuc on Monday, Julie Yutuc on Tuesday, Eddine Belcourt on Wednesday, Dacyl Galicia-Silveira on Thursday, and Cassie Navarro on Friday. Through Scripture, testimony, music, and prayer, each presenter encouraged attendees to embrace God’s purpose, trust His leading, and reflect Christ in their daily lives.

Adding a unique dimension to the week, Dr. Erin Jenkins, a dual-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, presented special women’s health nuggets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. Her presentations addressed topics related to physical, emotional, and mental well-being, emphasizing the importance of caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

One of the most meaningful aspects of the week was the spirit of connection that developed among the women in attendance. Through worship, testimony, prayer, and fellowship, participants found encouragement not only in the messages that were presented but also in one another’s experiences and faith journeys.

“During the Women’s Week of Prayer at Living Water Fil-Am, we were blessed to walk alongside women from different backgrounds as they shared their unique testimonies of faith and what it means to have ‘Become Her in Christ,’” said Cassie Navarro, Women’s Ministries leader. “Each story reflected God’s love, grace, and transforming power at work in their lives.”

Navarro said she was deeply encouraged by the women who courageously shared their journeys through song, testimony, health presentations, and the messages God placed on their hearts. “It was truly inspiring to witness how God is moving through His daughters to uplift, strengthen, and encourage one another in faith,” she said.

Attendee and speaker Eddine Belcourt reflected on the impact of the gathering. “There is something powerful about genuine connection among women,” Belcourt shared. “When we are willing to be vulnerable about our journeys with Christ, we create space to support, uplift, and strengthen one another.” She added that the week strengthened not only her connection with the women around her but also her relationship with Christ, serving as “a beautiful reminder that we were never meant to walk this journey alone.”

The Women’s Week of Prayer at Living Water Fil-Am church demonstrated the power of Christ-centered fellowship and wholistic ministry, leaving attendees encouraged, inspired, and drawn closer to Him.

Mujeres de todo el valle de Las Vegas se reunieron en la iglesia Fil-Am Living Water para su semana snual de oración de la mujer, celebrada bajo el lema “Transformadas en Cristo”. El evento de una semana ofreció una oportunidad para la adoración, el crecimiento espiritual, la convivencia y el ánimo mientras las asistentes exploraban lo que significa convertirse en las mujeres que Dios las ha llamado a ser.

Cada noche contaba con un ponente diferente que compartía mensajes bíblicos y testimonios personales que destacaban la fidelidad y el poder transformador de Dios. Entre las ponentes de la semana estuvieron Claudia Arevalo Yutuc el lunes, Julie Yutuc el martes, Eddine Belcourt el miércoles, Dacyl Galicia-Silveira el jueves y Cassie Navarro el viernes. A través de las Escrituras, el testimonio, la música y la oración, cada ponente animó a las asistentes a abrazar el propósito de Dios, confiar en su dirección y reflejar a Cristo en su vida diaria.

Añadiendo una dimensión única a la semana, la Dra. Erin Jenkins, enfermera especialista en familia y psiquiatría con doble certificación, presentó perlas especiales sobre la salud de la mujer los lunes, miércoles y viernes por la noche. Sus presentaciones abordaron temas relacionados con el bienestar físico, emocional y mental, enfatizando la importancia de cuidar a la persona en su totalidad: mente, cuerpo y espíritu.

Uno de los aspectos más significativos de la semana fue el espíritu de conexión que se desarrolló entre las mujeres. A través de la adoración, el testimonio, la oración y la comunión, las participantes encontraron ánimo no solo en los mensajes, sino también en las experiencias de fe de las demás.

“Durante la semana de oración de la mujer en Living Water Fil-Am, tuvimos la bendición de caminar junto a mujeres de diferentes orígenes mientras compartían sus testimonios de fe y lo que significa transformarse en Cristo”, dijo Cassie Navarro, líder del Ministerio de Mujeres. “Cada historia reflejaba el amor, la gracia y el poder transformador de Dios actuando en sus vidas”.

Navarro dijo que se sintió profundamente animada por las mujeres que compartieron valientemente sus experiencias a través de cantos, testimonios, presentaciones de salud y los mensajes que Dios puso en sus corazones. “Fue realmente inspirador presenciar cómo Dios se mueve a través de sus hijas para elevar, fortalecer y animar mutuamente en la fe”, dijo.

Eddine Belcourt reflexionó sobre el impacto de la reunión. “Hay algo poderoso en la conexión genuina entre mujeres”, compartió Belcourt. “Cuando estamos dispuestas a ser vulnerables respecto a nuestra experiencia con Cristo, creamos un espacio para apoyarnos, elevarnos y fortalecernos mutuamente”. Añadió que la semana fortaleció no solo su conexión con las mujeres que la rodean, sino también su relación con Cristo, sirviendo como «un hermoso recordatorio de que nunca debimos recorrer este camino solas».

La semana de oración de la mujer en la iglesia Living Water Fil-Am demostró el poder de la comunión centrada en Cristo y el ministerio integral, dejando a los asistentes animados, inspirados y más cerca del Señor.
