Arizona News – August, 2026

On Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, 2026, Arizona SonShine once again demonstrated the love of Christ by serving the people of Yavapai County through its annual free healthcare outreach. Thanks to the dedication of volunteer healthcare professionals, community organizations, churches, and countless volunteers, individuals and families received much-needed care at no cost.

Services included medical screenings, dental care, dentures, eye exams and glasses, hearing exams, mental health services, diabetes education, health coaching, naturopathic medicine, school physicals, and legal services. While some services were available in limited quantities, everyone who came seeking help was welcomed with compassion and respect.

Arizona SonShine was founded on the belief that quality healthcare should be available to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances. There is no income qualification to receive care—anyone in need who comes to the event is served as volunteers and resources allow. Over the years, this ministry has provided more than $2.5 million worth of free healthcare services to over 5,000 residents of Yavapai County.

More than providing medical care, Arizona SonShine is about sharing hope. By meeting physical, emotional, and practical needs, this ministry reflects Christ’s compassion in action and reminds our community that every person is valued and loved. What began as a local vision has now expanded to communities throughout Arizona, touching thousands of lives with both healing and hope.

We give thanks for the many volunteers, healthcare providers, churches, businesses, and community partners whose generous service makes this ministry possible each year. Their commitment continues to be a powerful testimony of God’s love at work in our community.
