Women’s Ministries Presents Theme in a Creative Way
The Hispanic Women’s Retreat held at Pine Springs Ranch from April 10-12 was centered around the powerful theme “Approved.” This message resonated deeply with each attendee to remind them of divine affirmation.
Guest speaker Yami Bazan, president of Union College, delivered an incredibly impactful address that communicated the core truth that the women listening had already been approved by God. Her words inspired and uplifted the spirits of the over 300 women gathered there, creating a vibrant atmosphere of praise, spiritual renewal, and heartfelt fellowship.
A particularly moving highlight of the retreat was the special recognition bestowed upon Lupita Aragon and Martha Perez. They were honored for 35 years of dedicated service to Women’s Ministries, a testament to their unwavering commitment. The surprise was orchestrated by their husbands, adding an emotional and personal touch to the celebration.
Cindy Baez contributed significantly to the spiritual atmosphere with her heartwarming and inspiring devotional messages. The women were also privileged to have Yohalmo Saravia, vice president of Hispanic Ministries, in attendance, who offered a special blessing.
Beyond the profound spiritual sessions, the retreat featured a delightful social element with a Kentucky Derby theme. Participants embraced this creative opportunity, decorating personalized hats that beautifully told their unique life stories, fostering camaraderie and shared experiences.
Forty first-time visitors received a complimentary Bible as part of Women’s Ministries’ focus to foster new connections. Further, the leaders will initiate follow-up programs to continue supporting and engaging these individuals.
The Women’s Ministries committee once again demonstrated their exceptional dedication and organizational prowess. Their efforts consistently ensure that each retreat surpasses expectations, providing a supportive, encouraging, and uplifting environment for each of the attendees.
Southeastern California Conference Women’s Ministries counts this retreat as unforgettable and spiritually enriching and plans to continue the momentum to remind each woman of their identity and purpose.

Aprobada por Dios: Ministerio de la mujer presenta creativo tema
El Retiro de Mujeres Hispanas celebrado en Pine Springs Ranch del 10 al 12 de abril se centró en el poderoso tema “Aprobada”. Ese mensaje resonó profundamente en cada asistente para recordarles la afirmación divina.
La ponente invitada Yami Bazán, presidenta de Union College, pronunció un discurso increíblemente impactante que comunicó la verdad fundamental de que las mujeres que escuchaban ya habían sido aprobadas por Dios. Sus palabras inspiraron y elevaron el ánimo de las más de 300 mujeres reunidas, creando un ambiente vibrante de alabanza, renovación espiritual y comunión.
Un momento especialmente emotivo del retiro fue el reconocimiento especial otorgado a Lupita Aragón y Martha Pérez. Fueron homenajeadas por 35 años de servicio dedicado al Ministerio de Mujeres, un testimonio de su compromiso inquebrantable. La sorpresa fue orquestada por sus maridos, añadiendo un toque emocional y personal a la celebración.
Cindy Baez contribuyó de manera significativa al ambiente espiritual con sus mensajes devocionales conmovedores e inspiradores. Las mujeres también tuvieron el privilegio de contar con la presencia de Yohalmo Saravia, vicepresidente de Ministerio Hispano, quien ofreció una bendición especial.
Más allá de las profundas sesiones espirituales, el retiro contó con un encantador componente social con temática del Kentucky Derby. Las participantes aprovecharon esa oportunidad creativa, decorando sombreros personalizados que contaban bellamente sus historias de vida únicas, fomentando la camaradería y las experiencias compartidas.
Cuarenta visitantes de primerizas recibieron una Biblia de cortesía como parte del enfoque del Ministerio de Mujeres para fomentar nuevas conexiones. Además, las líderes iniciarán programas de seguimiento para seguir apoyando y comprometiéndolas.
El comité del Ministerio de Mujeres demostró una vez más su excepcional dedicación y destreza organizativa. Sus esfuerzos garantizan de forma constante que cada retiro supere las expectativas, proporcionando un entorno de apoyo alentador y esperanzador para cada una de las asistentes.
El Ministeris de Mujeres de la Southeastern California Conference considera ese retiro como inolvidable y espiritualmente enriquecedor, y planea continuar con el impulso para recordar a cada mujer su identidad y propósito.
