Women’s Ministries

Nearly 60% of the global Adventist church membership is female, and as the majority population within the church, there is a lot of good Adventist women can accomplish—and a lot of room to support those efforts, as well. Ellen White recognized this as well, stating “The Lord has a work for women as well as men to do” (Testimony Treasures, vol. 2, p. 404).

What We Do

Women’s Ministries encourages, educates, and supports women in the church so they can use their experience and influence across marriages, parenting partnerships, employment, social connections, and more to spread the Gospel message.

This ministry:

  • Trains and educates
  • Heals
  • Serves—both within our churches and within our communities
  • Partners with other organizations to fill needs—such as the American Heart Association, American Cancer Association, tutoring groups, and local youth programs

Through collaborations with Children & Family Ministries, Pathfinders, Health Ministries, and other church departments, Women’s Ministries ensures there is an opportunity for every woman to impact the world in her unique way, working within her gifts. One woman at a time, we need to serve everyone.
