Who We Are
Just about every church in the Pacific Union Conference has at least one Sabbath School class, making it the most influential ongoing teaching ministries in the local Adventist Church. And Sabbath School leaders need resources to improve and expand this ministry to their congregations and communities. That’s where Sabbath School and Personal Ministries can help.
What We Do
We are here to consult and provide effective tools for local churches within the Union to deepen the spiritual growth and missional influence of their members. These tools include:
- Structured Bible study guides
- Teacher training materials
- Age-appropriate curricula
- Global mission awareness

About the Director
Pastor Jim Park was converted from his devout Catholic upbringing into the Adventist Church in his early 20s. He pastored in Los Angeles for 25 years before teaching pastors at the Adventist Seminary in Asia for 12 years, and has taught in every Sabbath School division. Currently he pastors in Los Angeles and teaches as an adjunct professor at Loma Linda University.
