Leon B. Brown Sr. was elected executive vice president of the Pacific Union Conference in August 2021.
Previously, Brown served within the Union as president of the Nevada-Utah Conference, pastor, and coordinator for several ministries.
Brown’s background in teaching provided him with valuable leadership opportunity, as he then served as dean of instruction at Heald College School of Business in Stockton, California.
Brown has degrees in both business and religion, an MBA and MDiv., and a D.Min. He has been married to Julie F. Brown since 1988, and they have two adult sons, Leon II and Lawrence.
