Kamil Metz serves as director of Literature Ministries for the Pacific Union Conference, providing leadership and vision across its seven conferences. With nearly three decades of experience in literature ministry, pastoral ministry, and global church outreach, Metz is passionate about equipping leaders, mentoring young people, and helping churches use literature to share Jesus and reach their communities.
Before joining the Pacific Union, Metz served as a local church pastor. Prior to pastoral ministry, he served for more than 17 years as director of Literature Ministries for the Michigan Conference and as GLOW International Coordinator. His ministry experience includes leading youth and young adult literature evangelism programs, developing training resources, and helping churches integrate literature ministry into their broader evangelistic strategies.
Metz holds a bachelor’s degree in theological studies as well as a Master of Business Administration degree. He is also the author of “The Open Door” (2014), a collection of inspiring stories from youth evangelists across the North American Division.
Kamil and his wife, Annette, have two young adult children, Rebekah and Micah.
