Elected as vice president for Hispanic Ministries in 2026, Yohalmo Saravia previously served as vice president for Hispanic Ministries at the Southeastern California Conference (SECC). He also teaches as an adjunct professor of practical theology at Andrews University. Previously, Saravia served as the SECC’s Hispanic evangelist for 13 years and as a pastor in Greater New York Conference.
Saravia is the author of the book Permanecer en Cristo: Estrategias para preservar el rebaño (Abiding in Christ: A Strategy for Preserving the Flock), published in 2022.
He is happily married to Joann Robles-Saravia, and together they have two grown children, Jonathan and Jennifer; a daughter-in-law, Kerally; and one granddaughter, Samantha.
